Meeting your STIR/SHAKEN Robocall Mitigation Requirements

Meeting your STIR/SHAKEN
Robocall Mitigation Requirements

How can you meet your STIR/SHAKEN requirements? Ask Telinta.Your VoIP business may be subject to recent FCC regulations requiring Robocall Mitigation.

Even if your business is based outside the USA, you should consider learning more about these requirements if you send calls to the United States.  This includes registering your business within the FCC’s Robocall Mitigation Database (RMD).

The FCC has set a December 31, 2024 deadline for certain steps in this process.  Not meeting these requirements could cause your calls to the USA to be blocked by your VoIP Termination carriers, intermediate carriers handling the call, or by the receiving carriers.  VoIP providers may be subject to fines for non-compliance.

Telinta cannot advise you on your regulatory requirements, but to help our customers meet their FCC requirements we have integrated a third-party provider who offers Robocall Mitigation solutions.

TransNexus is integrated with Telinta’s TeliCoreTM platform for both inbound and outbound traffic.

STIR (Secure Telephony Identity Revisited) works by adding a digital certificate to the VoIP call which is processed on the receiving end of the call.

SHAKEN (Signature-based Handling of Asserted information using toKENs) provides guidelines for calls that have incorrect or missing STIR information.

Telinta provides you with the capabilities you need to run a successful VoIP business, with access to our comprehensive ecosystem of industry-leading partners.
